The DelftaCopter II team is proud to announce another successful indoor test flight of its autopilot software. Various improvements have been made to its autopilot software and thus dynamic stability.
The dynamic stability of the drone during hover is a key factor when it comes to ascending to cruise altitude and landing at the end of its mission. The new autopilot software is tested on the old drone model in order to gather data which can be used to improve the new model.
The video below demonstrates how the DelftaCopter’s autopilot software reacted to various manual signal input in hover mode.
